Meet the Team
Ashton Woods are a niche firm of Chartered Surveyors & Valuers, based in Cheltenham, since 2021. Quickly becoming established as one of the leading & most innovative survey & valuation companies in the area, our customer service & clarity of reporting is first class.
Ashton Woods are widely regarded as the most innovative of the survey companies operating, incorporating 3D Tours, external drone videos as standard, thermal imaging & forensic damp checks, internal laser levelling & aerial 3D measurement technology, all forming part of what we do.
The Team:
Tom Ryder-Smith.
MRICS Director
Tom comes from a Licensed & Leisure background of commercial property, having worked for large London based firms, since 2009. He now specialises in Commercial & Residential valuation work, and Level 2 & 3 RICS Home Surveys.
Mike Sands.
MRICS
Mike is also a graduate of LSBU and specialises in the Valuation side of the business. Having been a partner at Knight Frank in London, Mike now works on a consultancy basis, assisting with joint instructions, large portfolio valuations & RCA
work.
Sarah Dowl-Atkins.
Graduate Surveyor
Currently studying for the APC to qualify as a Member of RICS, Sarah is on site most days, undertaking all manner of Survey work, with a strong interest in Heritage & Listed Building pathology & restoration, Sarah has a bright future in this special sector.
Rebecca Ryder – Smith.
Office Manager & Director
All offices require someone to keep the wheels turning In-between looking after two boys, Rebecca ensures that the office administration is smooth & everyone gets what they are supposed to, at the right time!

He adds no real value, other than to greet visitors, clients, & deliver drivers alike, with 110% over the top enthusiasm!
